The hosts wanted a two-tier cake with a 3D giraffe on top.  Since Michelle was having a boy, I used blue and white colors for the cake.  The two-tiers were frosted in buttercream with fondant circles.  The giraffe was made from pound cake and frosting mixed together and covered in fondant.
