Charlee loves Minnie Mouse, so I made a cake inspired by the character which included a silhouette of Minnie’s head made from homemade modeling chocolate, complete with red fondant bow. The cake itself was iced in red buttercream with white fondant dots and a pearl border which I created using pearl dust on the fondant.
My friend Emlyn wanted to get a cake made for one of her co-worker’s birthdays. I created a chocolate cake with fresh strawberries and sugared grapes. This was my first try and making sugar grapes and they not only tasted amazing, I thought they brought a more elegant look to the cake. Happy Birthday Ilene!
Shelley’s kiddo was having a Spider-Man themed birthday party so I created vanilla cupcakes with webs and a larger cake with Spidey’s face on it. Making webs is lots of work! Apologies for the children’s red tongues! They were probably red for days! 😉 Happy Birthday!
It was all things pink and girly to welcome baby Eleanor to this sweet family. I created pink cake pop baby rattles and blocks accented with yellow. Also, I made chocolate cupcakes with the baby’s name to celebrate. Congratulations Amy!
Ray’s birthday happened to fall on the same night as a Chasca performance, so keeping with the theme, I created purple cake balls complete with music notes and gold glitter.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar was the theme for Landry’s 1st Birthday, so I created cake balls in two shades of green, as well as a caterpillar face smash cake for the birthday boy.
Sam wanted to have a Toy Story birthday party, just like his big brother, so I created some themed cake pops to celebrate including: Buzz’s belt, Woody’s star, Rex, Lots-O’-Huggin’ Bear, and some cloud cake pops spelling out Sammy’s name. Happy Birthday kiddo! Hope you had a great party!
To welcome the pending arrival of Baby Gavin, we had a baby shower for Pearl & Ryan; the theme being elephants and the colors of gray and yellow. I created vanilla and chocolate cake pops for the parents-to-be with royal icing elephants and yellow white chocolate drizzle. Congrats you two!
Ladybugs were the theme for Peyton’s 2nd birthday. I created vanilla ladybug cake balls for the birthday girl; I think she liked them! 🙂
We had a zebra theme for Melissa’s sip & see to welcome Baby Miles. I created zebra striped cake pops wrapped with blue ribbon in vases tied with raffia.
