Soumya’s Sister-in-Law’s Baby Shower

The theme for the baby shower invitation surrounded the cutest elephants! I made vanilla and chocolate cake pops, both with cream cheese icing, and dipped in white chocolate that I colored in mint green. The elephants were made from off-white royal icing. Congratulations!

Birthday Girl

Laura and Jeff wanted me to make cake balls to celebrate the birthday of the daughter of the family swapping houses with them for the next few weeks. I dipped them in dark chocolate and added purple, yellow, orange, and blue royal icing sugar flowers to decorate the top.

Congratulations Amy & Marcos

Amy contacted me to have some cake pops made to coordinate with her wedding colors. She wanted chocolate cake mixed with cream cheese icing. I dipped half in dark chocolate drizzled with pink white chocolate and the other half in pink white chocolate drizzled with dark chocolate. For favors, we included a dark chocolate truffle with pink sea salt. Hopefully, there will be more pictures to come to show the final display. Amy and Marcos were married at the beautiful Austonian in downtown Austin. Congratulations to you both!

Michelle’s Baby Shower

This baby shower’s theme was around giraffes. The hosts wanted a two-tier cake with a 3D giraffe on top. Since Michelle was having a boy, I used blue and white colors for the cake. The two-tiers were frosted in buttercream with fondant circles. The giraffe was made from pound cake and frosting mixed together and covered in fondant. Congratulations Michelle!

Happy Birthday Kirsten

You gotta love a girl who loves red and polka dots! I had so much fun creating cake balls for Kirsten’s birthday; even trying out a new silicone mold to make perfect square shapes. I heard they were a big hit with the bouncers at Eisenhowers as well. 🙂 Happy Birthday Kirsten!

Happy Birthday Reagan

I can’t believe Baby Reagan is 1 year old!  She’s growing up so fast and is such a cutie pie!  Mom and Dad put together a big outdoor fiesta for the celebration and everyone had such a great time!  I had lots of help from my mom and grandmother making royal icing sugar flowers in 6 different colors to top the cupcakes.  Happy Birthday sweet girl!
